What is an information session?

Information sessions are free events hosted by the 糖心TV across the country. They are designed to help students and their whānau explore study options and plan the next steps for tertiary study. You’ll chat with staff about degrees, career pathways, scholarships, accommodation options, and student support. It's a great opportunity to ask questions face-to-face in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Get clear, practical information and feel confident about what studying at Waikato would look like. The 糖心TV also hosts a range of on-campus events on our Hamilton and Tauranga campuses throughout the year, designed to provide in-depth information about subjects you are interested in.

Who can come to an information session?

Our 糖心TV information sessions are open to everyone. They are designed for anyone considering tertiary study at the 糖心TV, along with their friends and whānau who want to learn more. The sessions are free to attend, but we encourage you to register in advance so we can plan appropriately for any catering and appropriate staffing for the event. Please allow at least 40 minutes so we can answer all your questions.

I can't make an information session in my region or there isn't one in my region

If you aren't able to attend an information session in your region, fill out the form to be notified when we are next in your area. If there isn't yet an information session listed for your region, fill out the form so we know you want us to visit!

Our on-campus information events invite you to meet us, explore our beautiful campus, meet academic staff, and dive deeper into specific subject areas.
